Explain the Life and Death of the Iceman

There are many different theories and conclusions about the devastation of the iceman. Konrad Spindler, who led the team studying the body, cogitate that Iceman was a shepherd living in a farming community close to the Val Venosta. Many scholars have different opinions over how and why the Iceman died. This told historians that Iceman had definitely been involved in a violent incident and, in 2002, the arrowhead was examined and it was discovered that the arrow had come from the Southern Alpine region.Professor A. Pedrotti concluded that the arrow had probably been discharged by Icemans own good deal. In 2003, DNA analysis of Icemans clothes and weapons indicated blood from several people. The blood of two people was found on one arrowhead alone. Dr. T. Loy argued that Iceman had fired his arrow into two enemies, retrieving the precious weapon each time. However, he too had been wounded in the back, and had bled to death in the place he was found 5000 years later. Guy Montag lives in a society where the majority accepts a lie as the truth. Montag and others are taught to believe that books cause harm and desolation to the pack around them, and should therefore be banned from society. After his wife Mildreds at tempted suicide, Montag realizes that although people in his society are alive, they are not truly living.He assumes that in the absence of books, his society has become completely absent of emotion and he yearns to discover why. Through this go, Montag encounters an old English professor by the name of Faber who explains that it is not books that Montag desires, but the important qualities that they teach instead. He learns that books allow people to obtain information, designate emotion, and think freely. After uncovering the truth, Montag then decides that it is his destiny to restore these necessary qualities, and bring life to a seemingly dead society.The idea of witchery has consumed the minds of the people in the town of Salem, and while some decide to fall victim to the mind control of society, others attempt to remain truthful to their moral beliefs. As the accusations of witchcraft escalate, some people in Salem fail to seek the courage that it takes to remain truthful. These people decide to lie and avoid being hanged or imprisoned while the others who decide to tell the truth and become victims of a corrupt society.John proctor refuses to compromise his moral values and decides to speak the truth and thus abjure any witchcraft activity. This decision ultimately determines Proctors fate and allows him to die an honest man. Proctors discovery that confessing to a perceived truth is of greater consequence than telling the actual truth allows Proctor to die with dignity and honor. Poems are unique in the way that there is no one true answer because poems contain ambiguous text that allows different people to take away different heart and souls.The truth or the meaning of a poem lies behind ones individual interpretation and therefore it is each readers responsibility to discover it on his or her own rather than simply being told it. Discovering the truth behind a poem can be a painstaking task but it can also be enjoyable. No matter the difficult y of the process, discovering ones own truth is necessary and fulfilling. By realizing the meaning of a poem, the reader has the ability to take this meaning and apply it to his or her own life and learn the true importance of poetry.In the end, John Proctor, Guy Montag and all readers of poetry discover that the truth is a valuable entity that requires great responsibility. In the book, Into the Wild by Christopher McCandlesss, is a true story about a young man bid Emory who was found dead in the Alaskan wilderness in September 1992. Anyhow, McCandless is a senior at Emory. He has driven forth most of his friends, and barely keeps in touch with his parents.He lets his parents think that he is interested in law school, entirely instead, after graduating with honors, he applyates his $25,000 savings to charity, gets in his car, and drives away without telling anyone where he is passing, abandoning the use of his real name along the way.His plan was to get away from city life, to be with nature. Shaun C all in allarman said that I think that Chris McCandless was silver and ignorant at the same time. He had no common sense, and he had no business going into Alaska with his Romantic silliness. He made a lot of mistakes based on arrogance.I dont admire him at all for his courage nor his noble ideas. Really, I think he was just plain crazy. I cook to v erbalise that I agree with Shaun.I agree with Shaun because McCandless didnt look ahead of his future. Instead he just threw himself into the wind. He went into Alaska without a map or planning of where he was going.Im move he lasted as long as he did. If hed of just had a map he wouldnt have been trap up at the river he was a crossing. But honestly the best thing was his credit that he does need other people, even though it was ultimately too late.To sum up, I judgment that Chris journey into the wilderness to seek the simple life was inspirational but he was extremely guileless about his journey and was much unprepared for the conditions that he was facing.
